🇬🇧UNITED KINGDOM🇲🇽MEXICOGB-MX Do United Kingdom passport holders need a visa to visit Mexico?
No visa required. British citizens can visit Mexico visa-free for tourism for up to 180 days. British citizens holding an ordinary passport do not need a visa to enter Mexico for tourism. You may stay for up to 180 days, with the exact number of days set by the immigration officer on arrival. If you arrive by air, you receive a passport entry stamp (the paper FMM has been phased out at major airports such as Cancún and Mexico City), and your tourist permit is recorded digitally; you can download the Forma Migratoria Múltiple Digital (FMMd) online afterwards. If you arrive by land, you must complete the immigration form online via the INM portal before or at entry. Your passport should be valid for the duration of your stay (the Mexican Embassy recommends at least 180 days of validity). Border officers may ask for proof of onward/return travel, accommodation, and sufficient funds. Travelers to Quintana Roo state (Cancún, Playa del Carmen, Tulum, Cozumel) must also pay the separate Visitax tourism tax.
