Do Finland passport holders need a visa to visit TN?

Finnish (EU) passport holders can visit Tunisia visa-free for tourism for up to 90 days. No visa, eVisa or pre-registration is required; just a valid passport, an onward ticket and proof of accommodation. Finland is an EU member state, and all EU citizens (except Cyprus) enjoy visa-free entry to Tunisia for short tourist stays. A Finnish ordinary passport holder may enter Tunisia without any visa, eVisa, visa-on-arrival, or electronic travel authorization and stay for up to 90 days (3 months). Entry is granted at the border with an entry stamp. Since 1 January 2025, Tunisia requires all foreign visitors to present a valid passport (the previous national-ID-card option for EU package tourists has been withdrawn); the passport should be valid for the duration of the stay, and many sources advise at least three to six months' validity. Border officials may ask for proof of onward/return travel, confirmed accommodation, and sufficient funds, so these should be carried. There is no application fee for visa-free entry. A nightly tourist accommodation tax (paid at the hotel) applies but is unrelated to immigration. Tunisia has discussed introducing an eVisa system in future, but as of 30 May 2026 it is not in force for Finnish tourists, who continue to enter visa-free.
