🇫🇮FINLAND🇳🇿NEW ZEALANDFI-NZ Do Finland passport holders need a visa to visit New Zealand?
Finnish passport holders do not need a visa for short tourist visits to New Zealand, but they must obtain an NZeTA (Electronic Travel Authority) before travel and pay the International Visitor Levy. Finland is on New Zealand's visa-waiver list, so Finnish ordinary passport holders can visit for tourism for up to 3 months without a visitor visa. However, before flying they must request a New Zealand Electronic Travel Authority (NZeTA) online or via the official app, and pay the International Visitor Conservation and Tourism Levy (IVL) of NZD 100 in the same transaction. The NZeTA costs NZD 17 (app) or NZD 23 (website), is valid for up to 2 years for multiple visits, and is normally issued within 72 hours (often faster). The passport must be valid for at least 3 months beyond the planned departure date from New Zealand. Total visa-free stays cannot exceed 6 months in any 12-month period.
