Finland to Kyrgyzstan visa requirements

Finnish ordinary passport holders can visit Kyrgyzstan visa-free. As of 31 December 2025 (Cabinet Resolution No. 855), the allowance was cut to 30 days within any 60-day period (previously 60 days within 120 days). No visa, fee, or registration is required for stays within that limit. Finland is on Kyrgyzstan's unilateral visa-free list, so Finnish citizens travelling for tourism or a short visit do not need a visa or any pre-arrival application. The key recent change is Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 855, in force from 31 December 2025, which shortened the visa-free stay for 55 countries (including Finland and all EU states) from a maximum of 60 days within 120 days to a maximum cumulative 30 calendar days within any 60-day period, counted from the date of entry. No separate residence registration is required for stays inside this window. Travellers simply present a passport valid for the duration of stay at any international entry point (Manas/Bishkek, Osh, or land borders). Those needing to stay longer than 30 days must obtain a Kyrgyz e-visa via evisa.e-gov.kg or a residence permit. Kyrgyzstan is not in the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply. Because the MFA's published page still showed the older 60-day figure at the time of checking while several travel-advisory and news sources confirm the 30-day rule from the official resolution, travellers should plan around the conservative 30-day limit and confirm at the border.
