Finland to Egypt visa requirements

Finnish citizens need a visa for Egypt. The recommended route is the official online e-Visa (about USD 25, single entry, 30-day stay); a visa on arrival at major Egyptian airports is also available for the same fee. Finland is not on Egypt's visa-exempt list, so an ordinary Finnish passport holder needs a visa for a short tourist visit. As an EU member state, Finland qualifies for both the Egyptian electronic visa (e-Visa) and visa on arrival (VOA). The official e-Visa, issued through the government portal visa2egypt.gov.eg, is the recommended option: it is applied for in advance, costs about USD 25 for a single entry, permits a stay of up to 30 days, and is typically processed within a few working days. A visa on arrival can also be purchased at bank kiosks before immigration at Cairo, Sharm El Sheikh, Hurghada, Luxor and other international airports for the same USD 25 fee. The passport must be valid for at least 6 months from arrival with at least one or two blank pages. Egypt is not in the Schengen area, so Schengen 90/180 rules and ETIAS do not apply here.
