Do Finland passport holders need a visa to visit Brazil?

No visa required. Finnish ordinary passport holders can enter Brazil visa-free for tourism for up to 90 days per entry, capped at 90 days within any 180-day period. Finland and Brazil have a long-standing reciprocal visa-exemption agreement (in force since 1969), so Finnish ordinary passport holders need no visa for short tourist visits. Entry is granted for up to 90 days, and under Brazil's Decree No. 12,864 the stay is now calculated on a rolling "90 days in any 180-day period" basis (harmonized with EU/Schengen practice). There is no Brazilian ETA, eVisa, or pre-registration for Finnish tourists. Note that the unilateral visa exemption Brazil revoked in April 2025 applied to US, Canadian, and Australian travelers (who now need an eVisa) and does NOT affect Finland, which keeps its full reciprocal exemption. ETIAS is unrelated to Brazil; it applies only to travel into the Schengen area. At the border, travelers should be ready to show a passport valid for the stay, a return/onward ticket, proof of accommodation, and proof of sufficient funds.
