Do Finland passport holders need a visa to visit AR?
Finnish passport holders do NOT need a visa for tourism in Argentina. As an EU citizen, you may enter visa-free and stay up to 90 days, which can be extended once for a further period at Argentina's migration offices. Argentina grants visa-free entry to citizens of all European Union member states, including Finland, for tourism and short visits. The standard visa-free stay is 90 days, extendable for a similar period (one additional extension) at a Dirección Nacional de Migraciones (DNM) office inside Argentina. There is no eVisa, no visa-on-arrival fee and no electronic travel authorization required for Finnish ordinary passport holders. Argentina is in South America, not the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply to this trip; ETIAS is a separate, future EU requirement that affects Argentine citizens traveling TO Europe, not Finns traveling to Argentina. At the border, travelers should hold a passport valid for the duration of stay (at least 6 months recommended) with blank pages, proof of onward or return travel, sufficient funds and accommodation details. Entry is granted at the discretion of immigration officers. Note that Argentina no longer charges a "reciprocity fee" for any nationality.
