Spain to Uganda visa requirements

Spanish passport holders need a visa for Uganda and must obtain an eVisa online before travel. There is no visa-free entry and no genuine visa-on-arrival; all visa-eligible travelers must apply through the official portal before arriving. A Spain (ES) ordinary passport holder traveling to Uganda for tourism requires a visa. Uganda is not in the Schengen area, so EU/Schengen rules do not apply. Since 2016 Uganda has mandated online (eVisa) applications for all visa-prone travelers, including Spanish nationals, and walk-up visa-on-arrival is no longer offered as a standard channel. The standard product is the single-entry Ordinary/Tourist eVisa: USD 50, allowing a stay of up to 90 days (commonly granted for 30-90 days at the officer's discretion), with the approval letter valid for 90 days from issue within which you must enter. Applications are filed at the official government portal visas.immigration.go.ug. A valid Yellow Fever vaccination certificate is mandatory both as an upload and at the border, and the passport must be valid for at least 6 months with a blank page. Travelers also visiting Kenya and Rwanda on the same trip may instead choose the East African Tourist Visa (USD 100, multiple entry across the three countries, 90 days).
