Spain to Kazakhstan visa requirements

Spanish ordinary passport holders can enter Kazakhstan visa-free for tourism for up to 30 days per entry (max 90 days within any 180-day period). No visa, eVisa, or pre-registration is required before travel. As an EU member state, Spain benefits from Kazakhstan's unilateral visa-free regime. Holders of an ordinary Spanish passport may travel to Kazakhstan for tourism, business, or short visits without a visa for up to 30 calendar days per entry, subject to a cumulative limit of 90 days within any rolling 180-day period. Kazakhstan is NOT part of the Schengen area, so the EU/Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply here; Kazakhstan operates its own separate 30-day visa-free policy and 90/180 cumulative cap. There is no application, no fee, and no pre-arrival electronic authorization. On arrival, a migration card/entry record is created electronically. Travelers staying in hotels are registered automatically at check-in. Those in private accommodation must be registered by their host with the migration police or via the eGov.kz portal, generally within 3 business days, if the stay exceeds the short threshold. Passports should be valid for the duration of the stay (6 months remaining validity is recommended). For stays longer than 30 days, working, study, or residence, a visa or permit must be obtained.
