Spain to Kyrgyzstan visa requirements

Spanish ordinary passport holders can visit Kyrgyzstan visa-free for tourism. As of 31 December 2025 (Cabinet Resolution No. 855), Spain is in the list of 55 countries allowed up to 30 days within any 60-day period, with no registration or visa needed for short stays. Spain is one of 55 countries (EU/Schengen, UK, US, Japan and others) whose ordinary passport holders enjoy unilateral visa-free access to Kyrgyzstan. Following Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 855, effective 31 December 2025, the permitted visa-free stay was shortened from the previous 60 days in 120 days to a maximum cumulative 30 days within any 60-day period counted from the date of first entry. No registration with authorities is required during this visa-free window, and no visa, eVisa or letter of invitation is needed for a short tourist trip. Travelers who wish to stay longer than 30 days must apply for the Kyrgyz eVisa in advance. Kyrgyzstan is not in the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply to this route. A passport valid for the duration of stay (ideally 6 months beyond entry), proof of onward/return travel and accommodation are advisable to show at the border.
