Egypt to eSwatini visa requirements

Egyptian ordinary passport holders need a visa to visit eSwatini (Swaziland). Egypt is not on eSwatini's visa-exempt list, and there is no visa on arrival. Apply in advance at an eSwatini diplomatic mission (or via the official eVisa portal at evisa.gov.sz where available). eSwatini (the Kingdom of eSwatini, formerly Swaziland) grants visa-free entry to citizens of most Commonwealth countries, the United States, Japan and most EU states, but Egypt is NOT among the exempt nationalities. Egyptian ordinary passport holders must obtain a visa before travel. eSwatini does not offer visa on arrival for Egyptian nationals (authorities have stated plans to introduce VOA in future, but it is not yet in force). The country operates an official eVisa portal (evisa.gov.sz) with Tourist, Business, Student and Transit categories; where the eVisa is not accessible for a given nationality, the visa must be arranged in advance through an eSwatini mission abroad (for Egypt, the relevant accreditation runs through the mission in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia). A tourist visa is normally single-entry, costs roughly USD 35-60, and is processed in about 5-15 working days. On arrival, visitors are typically admitted for up to 30 days, extendable by a further 30 days at the Ministry of Home Affairs; stays beyond 60 days require a Temporary Residence Permit. eSwatini is in Southern Africa and is NOT part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply.
