Egypt to Suriname visa requirements

Egyptian ordinary passport holders need an e-Visa to enter Suriname for tourism. Egypt is not eligible for Suriname's e-Tourist Card. Apply online through VFS Global, the government's official partner, before you travel. Egypt is one of 21 nationalities for which Suriname reimposed a full visa requirement on 1 May 2023, so Egyptian ordinary-passport tourists cannot use the simpler e-Tourist Card (Entry Fee) channel available to most visitors. Instead, they must obtain a tourist e-Visa before departure. The e-Visa is applied for and paid for entirely online through VFS Global, the only authorized partner of Suriname's Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The standard tourist e-Visa is typically issued single-entry with a stay of up to 30 days (multiple-entry options up to about 60 days are available), and the visa document is generally valid for use within a defined window after issue. Applicants need a passport valid at least 6 months with blank pages, a recent photo, confirmed round-trip flights, accommodation proof, and payment of the visa fee. A yellow fever vaccination certificate is required if arriving from or transiting a yellow-fever-endemic country. Processing usually takes a few business days, but travelers should apply at least 1-2 weeks ahead. Suriname is in South America and is not part of the Schengen area, so Schengen 90/180 and ETIAS rules do not apply.
