Egypt to Serbia visa requirements

Egyptian ordinary passport holders need a visa for Serbia, but since June 2025 they can apply online for a short-stay Type C (tourist) eVisa instead of visiting an embassy. Serbia is not in the Schengen Area, and its visa-free list does not include Egypt. Holders of ordinary Egyptian passports are therefore visa-required (only Egyptian diplomatic passport holders enjoy a 90-day visa waiver under a 2022 memorandum). The practical route for tourists is the Type C short-term eVisa, which Serbia launched on its official welcometoserbia.gov.rs portal in June 2025. The eVisa allows stays of up to 90 days within any 180-day period and is applied for online before travel. The visa fee is EUR 90 (payable in Serbian dinar at the National Bank middle rate), and standard processing runs about 5 to 21 working days. Applicants must submit a valid passport, photo, proof of accommodation or an invitation, travel medical insurance covering at least EUR 30,000, proof of funds, and proof of fee payment. Note that holders of a valid Schengen, UK, US, or EU member-state visa may transit and stay in Serbia visa-free for up to 90 days within six months, which can be an alternative channel for Egyptian travelers who already hold such a visa.
