Egypt to Pakistan visa requirements
Egyptian ordinary passport holders need a visa for Pakistan and must apply online for a tourist e-Visa through the official NADRA portal (visa.nadra.gov.pk) before travel. There is no visa-free entry and no visa on arrival. A Egypt (EG) ordinary passport holder traveling to Pakistan for tourism requires a visa, obtained as an electronic tourist visa (e-Visa) through Pakistan's official online visa system operated by NADRA at visa.nadra.gov.pk. Since 1 January 2021 all Pakistan visa applications must be filed online, and physical submissions are no longer accepted at the embassy in Cairo. Importantly, Pakistan suspended its free Visa Prior to Arrival (VPA) and Visa on Arrival schemes on 1 January 2026, so Egyptians (previously among eligible African nationalities) must now obtain the standard paid tourist e-Visa. The tourist e-Visa is typically issued for a 3-month stay/validity, with single or multiple entry options, and standard processing runs roughly 7-20 business days. A passport valid at least 6 months with a blank page, a photo, confirmed accommodation/hotel booking, return ticket and proof of funds are required. Apply only through the official NADRA site; third-party agents are not the government channel.
