Egypt to New Zealand visa requirements

Egyptian ordinary passport holders need a New Zealand Visitor Visa before travelling. Egypt is NOT a visa-waiver country, so the NZeTA is not an option. Apply online with Immigration New Zealand. Egypt is not on New Zealand's visa-waiver list, so Egyptian ordinary passport holders cannot use the New Zealand Electronic Travel Authority (NZeTA). They must apply for and be granted a Visitor Visa before travelling to New Zealand for tourism or a short visit. The visitor visa is applied for online through Immigration New Zealand. The application fee is from NZD 441 (which includes the NZD 100 International Visitor Conservation and Tourism Levy, IVL), and around 80% of applications are decided within 2 weeks. The visa is typically granted for a stay of up to 9 months in an 18-month period; multiple-entry visas allow up to 6 months per 12-month period. Applicants must show genuine visitor intent, onward/return travel, sufficient funds, and good health and character, and the passport must be valid for at least 3 months beyond the planned departure date from New Zealand. There is no visa-on-arrival channel for Egyptian nationals.
