Egypt to Morocco visa requirements

Egyptian ordinary passport holders need a visa to enter Morocco for tourism. Egypt is not on Morocco's visa-exemption list, and Egyptians are not on Morocco's standard eVisa nationality list. Most travelers must apply for a tourist visa at a Moroccan consulate. A limited eVisa channel exists only for Egyptians who already hold a qualifying residence permit or multiple-entry visa from a Schengen state, the US, UK, Canada, Ireland, Australia, Japan, or New Zealand. As of 2026, citizens of Egypt holding an ordinary passport require a visa before traveling to Morocco for tourism or short visits. Egypt does not appear on Morocco's list of roughly 70+ visa-exempt countries, and there is no bilateral visa-waiver agreement covering ordinary passports. Egypt is also not among the 10 nationalities (such as India, Israel, Jordan, Thailand, Vietnam) eligible for Morocco's standard electronic visa. Egyptians can use Morocco's eVisa platform (acces-maroc.ma) ONLY on a conditional basis: if they hold a residence permit valid at least 180 days, or a non-electronic multiple-entry visa valid at least 90 days, issued by a Schengen Area country, Ireland, the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, Australia, Japan, or New Zealand. Egyptians who do not meet those conditions must apply for a traditional tourist visa at a Moroccan embassy or consulate (the embassy in Cairo). Morocco is not part of the Schengen Area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply. The conditional eVisa typically allows a single entry, up to 30 days, and is valid 180 days from issuance; consular short-stay visas generally allow up to 90 days. Because the no-visa or visa-on-arrival channels are not available to ordinary Egyptian passport holders, the conservative and accurate verdict is visa-required.
