Egypt to Cambodia visa requirements

Egyptian ordinary passport holders need a visa for Cambodia, but they can obtain it easily online. The Cambodia eVisa (Type T tourist) is the recommended route: USD 30 government fee, single entry, up to 30 days stay, valid 90 days from issue, typically issued within about 3 business days. Egypt is not on Cambodia's restricted list, so embassy-only application is not required. A visa on arrival is also available at major airports and land borders. All air arrivals must additionally complete the free Cambodia e-Arrival Card within 7 days before arrival. As of mid-2026, Egypt is not part of Cambodia's visa-exemption scheme (which mainly covers ASEAN and a small number of other states), so Egyptian ordinary passport holders require a visa for tourism. However, Egypt is not on Cambodia's eVisa-restricted list (Afghanistan, Algeria, Bangladesh, Iran, Iraq, Nigeria, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, Sudan), which means Egyptian travelers can use the convenient online eVisa rather than applying at an embassy. The official Cambodia eVisa is a single-entry Type T (tourist) visa costing USD 30 (plus a small online processing fee, making the official total roughly USD 36), permitting a stay of up to 30 days and valid for 90 days from the date of issue. Processing normally takes around 3 business days. Egyptian travelers may alternatively obtain a visa on arrival (USD 30 tourist) at the three international airports and the Bavet and Trapeang Kriel land borders. Separately, since 2025 all air travelers must submit the free Cambodia e-Arrival Card within seven days before arrival. The eVisa is the recommended option because it is processed in advance, avoids airport queues, and provides documented proof of onward eligibility.
