Egypt to Kyrgyzstan visa requirements

Egyptian ordinary passport holders need a visa for Kyrgyzstan. The simplest route is the official tourist e-Visa, applied for online at evisa.e-gov.kg before travel. A holder of an Egyptian ordinary passport is not eligible for visa-free entry to Kyrgyzstan and must obtain a visa before traveling for tourism. The recommended and most accessible option is the electronic visa (e-Visa) issued through the Kyrgyz Republic's official portal at evisa.e-gov.kg, which has been open to citizens of all countries for tourism, business and group-tourist categories since 1 September 2017. The tourist e-Visa is a single-entry permit allowing a short stay of up to 30 calendar days. Applications are completed and paid for entirely online, with a standard processing period of about 5 working days; the approved e-Visa is delivered by email and presented (printed or digital) on arrival. Note a recent development: in November 2025 Egypt and Kyrgyzstan signed a visa-waiver agreement that the Kyrgyz parliament ratified on 12 March 2026, but it applies ONLY to diplomatic, service and special passports - ordinary passport holders are NOT covered and still require an e-Visa. A separate simplified consular procedure exists for Egyptians, but only for those holding a valid residence permit of certain GCC or selected Asian states; ordinary travelers should use the e-Visa.
