Egypt to Jordan visa requirements

Egyptian ordinary passport holders can enter Jordan visa-free for tourism, staying up to 1 month within any 6-month period. No visa or eVisa is needed in advance for short visits within this allowance. Egypt is on Jordan's short list of visa-exempt nationalities. Holders of an ordinary Egyptian passport may enter Jordan without any visa for up to one month, with the cap that total visa-free stay may not exceed one month within any rolling six-month period. No application, fee, or eVisa is required before travel for stays inside this allowance, and entry can be made at Queen Alia International Airport (Amman), Aqaba, and land/sea border crossings. The passport should be valid for at least six months beyond the intended stay and have blank pages. Jordan is NOT part of the Schengen Area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply here. Travelers needing a longer stay, multiple entries, or who have exhausted the one-month-per-six-months allowance must obtain a visa (Jordan eVisa or visa on arrival, typically 40 JOD single entry) or a Jordan Pass. If at any point an immigration officer or carrier disputes the exemption, a Jordan eVisa is the safe fallback. Always carry proof of onward travel and accommodation.
