The e-VOA is recommended because you pay and get approval before departure, avoiding the payment queue at the airport. The airport VOA is also valid if you prefer to pay on arrival.

If you visit Bali, there is a one-time tourist levy of IDR 150,000, separate from the visa fee. It can be paid online via Love Bali or on arrival.

Egyptian ordinary passport holders need a Visa on Arrival (VOA) for tourism in Indonesia. You can buy it at the airport counter or, recommended, apply online in advance for the electronic Visa on Arrival (e-VOA). The fee is IDR 500,000, granting a 30-day stay that can be extended once. Egypt is on Indonesia's Visa on Arrival eligible list, so Egyptian ordinary passport holders cannot enter visa-free but can obtain a Visa on Arrival for short tourist visits. Two routes exist: pay IDR 500,000 at a VOA counter on arrival, or apply for the electronic e-VOA at evisa.imigrasi.go.id before departure (recommended to skip airport queues). Confirm eligibility and passport validity

Verify your Egyptian ordinary passport is valid for at least 6 months beyond your arrival date and has a blank visa page. Egypt is on Indonesia's VOA eligible list.
