Visa-free. Egyptian ordinary passport holders can visit Hong Kong for up to 90 days without a visa for tourism or short visits. Egypt is on the Hong Kong Immigration Department's list of nationalities granted visa-free entry. Holders of an ordinary Egyptian passport may enter the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) for tourism, family visits, or business-related activities and stay up to 90 days without obtaining a visa or entry permit in advance. No eVisa, visa-on-arrival, or pre-arrival registration is needed (the pre-arrival registration requirement applies only to Indian nationals). Travelers must hold a passport valid for the duration of stay, show onward/return arrangements, and satisfy normal immigration entry conditions. The stay limit is set by the immigration officer at the port of entry and cannot exceed 90 days for visa-free visits; working, studying, or residing requires a separate visa.
