Egypt to Georgia visa requirements

Egyptian ordinary passport holders need a Georgia e-Visa before travel. There is no visa-free or visa-on-arrival channel for tourism; apply online at evisa.gov.ge. As of 2026, citizens of Egypt holding an ordinary passport require a visa to enter Georgia for tourism. They are not on Georgia's visa-free list (only Egyptian diplomatic, official and service passport holders may have separate arrangements). The simplest route is the official short-term ordinary (category C) e-Visa applied for online through the Government of Georgia's e-Visa portal at evisa.gov.ge. The e-Visa is issued electronically by email, so no embassy visit is required. The standard short-term e-Visa allows a stay of up to 30 days within a validity window of 120 days from issue. The base consular fee is USD 20 plus a 2% online service fee, and the authorities state a decision takes no less than 5 working days. Georgia is NOT part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply. Applicants must hold a passport valid for at least 3 months beyond the requested visa validity, issued within the previous 10 years, with at least 2 blank pages, and should carry proof of accommodation, a return ticket, travel insurance and sufficient funds.
