🇪🇬Egypt🇩🇴Dominican RepublicEG-DO Egypt to Dominican Republic visa requirements
Egyptian ordinary passport holders need a visa to visit the Dominican Republic for tourism. Egypt is not on the DR's visa-exempt (tourist card) list, so you must obtain a tourist visa in advance from a Dominican Republic embassy or consulate before traveling. A free online E-Ticket is also mandatory for every entry and exit. As of 2026, the Dominican Republic grants visa-free tourist entry (via a tourist card / passport-only admission for up to 30 days) only to a defined list of nationalities — mainly the EU, US, Canada, UK, Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Mexico, Israel, Japan, and most Latin American countries. Egypt is not on this list. Egyptian ordinary passport holders are therefore in the visa-required category and must apply for a tourist visa at a Dominican Republic diplomatic mission (the Embassy in Cairo, or another accredited consulate) before departure. The visa is a consular sticker/stamp issued by the embassy — there is no eVisa or visa-on-arrival channel for Egyptian nationals. Separately, every traveler regardless of nationality must complete the free government E-Ticket (electronic entry/exit form combining migration, customs and health declarations) at eticket.migracion.gob.do before boarding. Passports must be valid at least six months. The default tourist stay is up to 30 days, extendable at the Migration Department in Santo Domingo; staying beyond 30 days triggers an overstay surcharge on departure. Because no reliable visa-free or visa-on-arrival channel exists for Egyptian passports, travelers should plan for an in-advance embassy visa and allow up to two weeks for processing.
