Do Germany passport holders need a visa to visit TG?

German ordinary passport holders need an eVisa to visit Togo for tourism. Visa on arrival has been discontinued. Apply online at voyage.gouv.tg at least 5 days before arrival, and carry proof of yellow fever vaccination. As of 31 May 2026, German citizens holding an ordinary passport require a visa to enter Togo for tourism. Togo no longer issues visas on arrival; instead, all travelers who need a visa must obtain an electronic visa (eVisa) through the official government platform at voyage.gouv.tg before travel. The standard tourist eVisa for a stay of up to 15 days (single entry) costs 25,000 CFA francs (XOF), with longer-stay and multiple-entry options available. Applications must be submitted at least 5 days before arrival, and standard processing takes up to 5 working days. All travelers must also complete an immigration form on the same platform (no later than 24 hours before arrival) and carry valid proof of yellow fever vaccination, which is mandatory for everyone aged 9 months and older entering Togo. A passport valid for at least 6 months beyond the stay with two blank pages is required. These findings are confirmed by Togo's official Voyage Togo platform and the German Federal Foreign Office (Auswärtiges Amt).
