Do Germany passport holders need a visa to visit UAE?

Visa-on-arrival, free, up to 90 days within 180 for German citizens. Multi-entry permitted. German ordinary passport holders are granted a free visa-on-arrival to the United Arab Emirates valid for up to 90 days within any 180-day period, with multi-entry use permitted. The stamp is issued at all UAE international airports (DXB/AUH/SHJ) and land/sea ports. Lufthansa, Emirates and Etihad operate multiple daily direct flights from FRA/MUC/DUS/HAM to DXB/AUH. Overstaying is heavily fined (AED 50/day) and may result in deportation. Long-term residence requires a sponsored visa or Golden Visa.
