Do China passport holders need a visa to visit RS?

Chinese ordinary passport holders can enter Serbia visa-free for up to 30 days per entry for tourism, business, or visiting family. No visa or eVisa is required for short visits. Since 15 January 2017, Serbia has applied a visa-free regime to holders of ordinary People's Republic of China passports. Travelers may enter without a visa and stay up to 30 days each entry for tourism, business, or family visits. This policy remains in force as of 2026 and is confirmed by the China Ministry of Foreign Affairs (consular service for Serbia), the Chinese Embassy in Serbia, and the published visa policy of Serbia. There is no special 90/180 rolling-window cap tied to the China exemption itself, but the 30-day limit applies per entry. Activities requiring prior Serbian approval - staying longer than 30 days, studying, residing, working, or media reporting - require a visa obtained in advance. A passport valid at least six months beyond the intended stay is recommended, along with proof of onward travel, accommodation, and sufficient funds, which border officers may request. Because entry is visa-free, there is no application process or fee for a short tourist visit; travelers simply present a valid passport at the border.
