Do China passport holders need a visa to visit JM?

Chinese ordinary passport holders can enter Jamaica visa-free for up to 30 days for tourism. No visa or eVisa is required in advance. Holders of an ordinary People's Republic of China passport do NOT need a visa to visit Jamaica for tourism. A visa-waiver has been in effect since 21 February 2014, allowing visa-free stays of up to 30 days for tourist purposes. Jamaica's official Passport, Immigration and Citizenship Agency (PICA) lists China as visa-exempt ("No visa required for 30 days, Tourism ONLY"), and this is corroborated by the Jamaican visa-policy and Chinese-citizen visa-requirement references. Travelers must still satisfy standard entry conditions at the port of entry: a passport valid for the duration of stay (six months' validity is strongly advised), a confirmed return or onward ticket, proof of accommodation, and evidence of sufficient funds. Since the exemption is strictly for tourism, travelers intending to work, study, or do business in Jamaica must obtain the appropriate visa in advance. To stay longer than the 30 days granted on arrival, an extension must be requested from PICA inside Jamaica before the authorized stay expires. There is no government visa fee for visa-free tourist entry; travelers should budget only for the airline-collected Jamaica tourism enhancement/departure charges typically built into the ticket price. As Jamaica has no direct flights from mainland China, most Chinese travelers transit via the United States, Canada, or the United Kingdom, and must hold the relevant transit/entry visa for the transit country (for example a U.S. C-1/B-1/B-2 visa or Canadian visa) even though Jamaica itself is visa-free.
