Canada to Vietnam visa requirements

Canadians need a Vietnam e-Visa before travel. It can be single or multiple entry, valid up to 90 days, with official fees of USD 25 single / USD 50 multiple. As of 2026-06-21, ordinary Canadian passport holders need a visa to visit Vietnam for tourism or business. Government of Canada travel advice lists tourist and business visas as required and says Canadians with valid passports may apply online for a single-entry or multiple-entry e-visa valid for a maximum of 90 days. Vietnam Immigration states the e-visa is issued through the electronic system, is valid for a maximum of 90 days, and can be single or multiple entry; its application page lists USD 25 for single entry, USD 50 for multiple entry, and 3 working days standard processing. Vietnam Tourism says e-visas are available to citizens of all countries and territories from 15 August 2023, while Canada is not in its visa-exemption list. Apply through the official evisa.gov.vn portal, choose the correct entry and exit details, and use an e-visa-approved port listed by Vietnam.
