Canadians can visit the Philippines visa-free for up to 30 days with a 6-month-valid passport, onward/return ticket, and eTravel filed within 72 hours before arrival. Canadian ordinary passport holders are eligible for 30 days visa-free entry to the Philippines for temporary visits if the passport is valid at least 6 months beyond the planned stay and they hold a return or onward ticket. eTravel registration is free, must be completed at etravel.gov.ph within 72 hours before arrival, and the QR code should be available before boarding. Visa-free visitors can request a first 29-day visa waiver at the Bureau of Immigration before the initial stay expires; non-visa-required nationals may extend up to 36 months in total with proper BI authorization. Work, study, journalism, and residence require the appropriate visa or status.
