Canada to Albania visa requirements

Canadian ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for Albania. You can enter visa-free for tourism and stay up to 90 days within any 180-day period. No visa, eVisa, or pre-travel authorization is required. The Government of Canada's official travel advisory confirms "Visa: Not required" for stays up to 90 days in any 180-day window. Albania is NOT a member of the Schengen Area and is not yet an EU member, so the EU's ETIAS scheme does not apply to entering Albania; however, Albania independently applies a Schengen-style 90/180 counting rule. Passports must be valid for at least 3 months beyond the intended departure date from Albania. Border officers may ask for proof of onward/return travel, accommodation details, and sufficient funds. The 180-day period is a rolling window, so brief exits do not reset the allowance. Travelers wishing to stay longer than 90 days, or to work or study, must obtain the appropriate long-stay (Type D) visa and/or residence permit before or during their stay.
