Do Brazil passport holders need a visa to visit UZ?

Brazilian ordinary passport holders can enter Uzbekistan visa-free for up to 30 days for tourism or visiting friends and family. No visa or e-visa is required in advance. Since 1 February 2019, Uzbekistan grants unilateral visa-free entry to ordinary passport holders from Brazil for stays of up to 30 days. Travelers simply arrive with a valid passport; no visa, e-visa, or visa-on-arrival is needed for short tourist or family visits. The passport should be valid for at least six months beyond the planned stay with two blank pages. The only ongoing obligation is registration: visitors must be registered within three working days of arrival, which hotels handle automatically, or which independent travelers can complete via the E-Mehmon online system. The visa-free channel does not permit work or paid employment. For stays longer than 30 days or for work, a separate visa is required. This policy is unilateral and stable as of 2026, with no e-visa or ETA needed for Brazilian tourists.
