Do Brazil passport holders need a visa to visit AM?

Brazilian ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for Armenia. They can enter visa-free and stay up to 180 days within any one-year period for tourism or short visits. As of 2026, holders of an ordinary Brazilian passport enjoy visa-free access to Armenia. Brazil appears on Armenia's list of countries whose nationals are exempt from obtaining a visa, with a generous permitted stay of up to 180 days during any one calendar/12-month year. No eVisa, visa-on-arrival, or pre-travel authorization is required for a tourist or short visit. Travelers simply present a passport valid for at least the duration of stay (6 months recommended) at the border, where immigration may ask for a return/onward ticket, proof of accommodation, and sufficient funds. Armenia is NOT in the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply. The 180-day allowance is the cumulative limit per year; staying longer requires a residence permit or other status. Always reconfirm with the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (mfa.am) shortly before travel, as policies can change.
