Austrian ordinary passport holders enjoy visa-free travel to Mexico for tourism, business or transit for up to 180 days. Since January 2023, Mexican airports no longer issue the paper FMM tourist card — instead, immigration officers stamp the passport with the authorised length of stay (which may be less than 180 days at the officer's discretion).
