Austria to Cambodia visa requirements
Austrian passport holders need a visa for Cambodia. The simplest option for a short tourist trip is the official Cambodia eVisa (tourist type T) obtained online before travel; a visa on arrival is also available at major airports and main land borders. Austria (ordinary passport) is not on Cambodia's visa-exemption list, so a visa is required for tourism. Austrians have two practical channels: the official electronic visa (eVisa) applied for at evisa.gov.kh before departure, or a visa on arrival (VoA) at international airports and the main land crossings. The eVisa is a single-entry tourist visa allowing a stay of up to 30 days, with a USD 30 government fee (some official intermediaries add a service charge, bringing the total to about USD 36). Processing typically takes about 3 business days. Separately, since the form became mandatory, every air traveler must also complete the free Cambodia e-Arrival card at arrival.gov.kh within 7 days before arrival, regardless of holding a visa. Use only the official government domains (evisa.gov.kh and arrival.gov.kh) to avoid copycat sites that overcharge.
