Austria to Fiji visa requirements

No visa required. Austrian ordinary passport holders are visa-exempt for Fiji and receive a free Visitors Permit on arrival, valid for tourist stays of up to 4 months. Austria is on Fiji's official visa-exempted countries list maintained by the Fiji Ministry of Immigration. An Austrian citizen traveling for tourism does not apply for a visa in advance; instead, a Visitors Permit is issued free of charge at the port of entry. The permit is normally granted for the length of stay shown on the onward ticket, up to a maximum of four months. To be admitted, the passport must be valid for at least six months beyond the intended stay, and the traveler must hold a confirmed return or onward ticket plus evidence of sufficient funds and accommodation. The permit covers tourism, visiting friends/relatives, and attending conferences, but never employment or job-seeking. It can be extended once, before expiry, for up to a further two months (some short-permit categories excluded). Fiji is in the South Pacific and is not part of the Schengen area, so the 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply to this route. This visa-free arrangement is current and stable for 2026, with no eVisa, ETA, or visa-on-arrival fee for exempt nationals.
