Austria to Colombia visa requirements

No visa is required. Austrian ordinary passport holders can enter Colombia for tourism visa-free for up to 90 days, extendable to a maximum of 180 days within a calendar year. Austria is on Colombia's visa-exemption list, and an Austria-Colombia reciprocal visa-waiver agreement has been in force since 1 March 1958. An Austrian ordinary passport holder traveling for tourism or a short visit does NOT need a visa. On arrival, Migración Colombia grants a Permiso de Ingreso y Permanencia (PIP) tourism stamp, normally valid for up to 90 days. This can be extended once (prórroga, the PTP) by up to a further 90 days, but the total tourist stay may not exceed 180 calendar days within the same calendar year. The passport should be valid for the duration of stay (six months' validity is widely recommended by carriers and embassies). All travelers must complete the free online Check-Mig form within 72 hours before both arrival and departure. Travelers should also carry proof of onward/return travel and sufficient funds.
