Argentina to Vanuatu visa requirements

Argentine ordinary passport holders can travel to Vanuatu visa-free for tourism. A free visitor permit for up to 30 days is stamped into the passport on arrival, with no application or fee required. Argentina is on Vanuatu's visa-exemption list. Holders of an ordinary Argentine passport do not need to obtain any visa before travel for a short tourist or family/business visit. On arrival at Bauerfield International Airport (Port Vila) or another port of entry, immigration officers issue a free visitor permit valid for up to 30 days. There is no online application, no advance approval, and no fee at the counter. The permit can be extended in-country, up to a maximum total stay of 120 days from the date of entry, by applying to the Department of Immigration and Passport Services. To be admitted, travelers must hold a passport valid for at least six months beyond the intended stay, show a confirmed return or onward ticket departing within the permitted period, and be able to demonstrate sufficient funds and accommodation. Vanuatu is not part of the Schengen area, so no Schengen 90/180 rule or ETIAS applies. Note that an unrelated 2024 EU decision revoked visa-free EU access for Vanuatu passport holders, but that concerns Vanuatuan citizens traveling outward and has no bearing on Argentine citizens entering Vanuatu.
