Argentina to Uganda visa requirements

Argentine ordinary passport holders need a visa for Uganda and must apply online for an eVisa (single-entry tourist visa) before travel. There is no visa-free entry and no standard visa-on-arrival for general tourists. Argentina is not on Uganda's visa-exemption list (the March 2026 visa-free expansion covered mainly African and a few other nations, not Argentina). Argentine citizens travelling for tourism must obtain a Uganda eVisa via the official immigration e-portal at visas.immigration.go.ug before arrival. The standard tourist eVisa is a single-entry visa costing USD 50, allowing a stay of up to 90 days, with the approval authorisation valid for 90 days from the date of issue (you must travel within that window). The passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of arrival. Applicants upload a passport bio-page, a recent photo, and a yellow fever vaccination certificate (mandatory for Uganda). Approval typically arrives in 2-7 business days. Travellers planning a regional trip can instead choose the East Africa Tourist Visa (USD 100), a 90-day multiple-entry visa valid across Uganda, Kenya and Rwanda, applied for through the same portal. On arrival, the printed eVisa approval letter is presented and the visa is endorsed in the passport. Uganda is not in the Schengen area, so Schengen 90/180 and ETIAS rules do not apply.
