Argentina to Solomon Islands visa requirements

Argentine ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa in advance for the Solomon Islands. On arrival they are granted a free Visitor's Permit for tourism, valid for stays up to 3 months within any 12-month period, provided they hold a passport valid 6+ months, an onward/return ticket, and proof of sufficient funds. Argentina is not on the Solomon Islands' "prior approval required" list, so Argentine nationals holding an ordinary passport receive a Visitor's Permit on arrival at no cost. This permit allows tourist stays not exceeding three months in aggregate within any 12-month period and is issued by Immigration officers at the port of entry (mainly Honiara's Henderson International Airport). No eVisa, ETA, or pre-travel application is needed. Standard conditions apply: a passport with at least six months' validity beyond the intended departure and blank pages, a confirmed return or onward ticket, evidence of adequate funds, and any visas required for onward destinations. Extensions of up to a further three months may be granted by the Immigration Division for special circumstances, subject to a fee. There is no Schengen relationship; the Solomon Islands is an independent Pacific nation and operates its own permit-on-arrival system. Travelers should carry printed proof of accommodation, funds, and onward travel, as these may be checked at the counter. Because the permit is discretionary and granted by the immigration officer, meeting all documentary conditions is important to avoid refusal.
