Argentina to New Zealand visa requirements

Argentine passport holders do not need a visitor visa for short tourism stays in New Zealand, but they must obtain an NZeTA (New Zealand Electronic Travel Authority) online or via the official app before travel. Argentina is on New Zealand's visa-waiver list, so ordinary Argentine passport holders can visit for tourism for up to 3 months at a time without a traditional visitor visa. Before boarding, however, every visa-waiver traveller must hold a valid NZeTA (New Zealand Electronic Travel Authority). The NZeTA costs NZD 17 via the official mobile app or NZD 23 through the website, and the International Visitor Conservation and Tourism Levy (IVL) of NZD 100 is charged at the same time. The NZeTA is valid for 2 years (multiple entries) and is usually approved within 72 hours, though it can take longer. Travellers must also complete a free New Zealand Traveller Declaration (NZTD) before arrival. Apply only through the official Immigration New Zealand channels to avoid third-party markup fees. New Zealand is not part of the Schengen area, so Schengen 90/180 and ETIAS rules do not apply.
