Argentina to Mongolia visa requirements

Argentine ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for Mongolia. They may enter visa-free for up to 90 days for tourism under a permanent bilateral visa-waiver agreement in force since 19 February 2018. Argentina (ordinary passport) enjoys visa-free entry to Mongolia for short tourist visits of up to 90 days. This is a permanent, mutual visa-exemption agreement signed between Argentina and Mongolia, effective 19 February 2018 — it is NOT the temporary 30-day exemption that Mongolia grants to 34 mostly European countries through the end of 2026. No eVisa, no visa-on-arrival, and no advance application are required. Travelers simply present a valid passport at the border. The passport should be valid for at least 6 months beyond the date of entry and contain blank pages. Mongolia is in Central/East Asia and is not part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply. Stays beyond 90 days, or visits for work, study, or business beyond tourism, require an appropriate visa and/or residence registration. Visitors staying more than 30 days must register with the Mongolian immigration authority within the legally required window. The verdict was confirmed against the official Mongolian consular visa-exemption list, which records Argentina as exempt for up to 90 days.
