Argentina to Jordan visa requirements

Argentine ordinary passport holders need a visa for Jordan. The simplest route is the official Jordan eVisa (single entry, 40 JOD, 30-day stay) applied for online before travel; a visa on arrival is also available at Queen Alia Airport and most land borders for the same 40 JOD. If you visit 3+ days and buy a Jordan Pass, the tourist visa fee is waived. A holder of an ordinary Argentine passport is not visa-exempt for Jordan and requires a tourist visa for a short visit. Jordan offers three practical options for Argentine travelers: (1) the official eVisa, processed through the Ministry of Interior e-services portal (eservices.moi.gov.jo) before departure; (2) a visa on arrival (VOA) at Queen Alia International Airport and most land border crossings (excluding the Allenby/King Hussein Bridge from the West Bank); and (3) the Jordan Pass, a tourism product that bundles and waives the tourist entry visa fee for visitors who stay at least three days (two nights) in the country. The standard single-entry visa costs 40 JOD, is valid for entry within a few months of issuance, and permits a stay of up to 30 days, extendable at a local police station. Double-entry (60 JOD, ~3 months) and multiple-entry (120 JOD, ~6 months) visas are available through Jordanian embassies/consulates. The passport must be valid for at least six months beyond the intended date of entry. The eVisa is recommended over VOA because it confirms eligibility and entry in advance and reduces airport processing. The Jordan Pass is the most cost-effective choice for tourists planning to visit Petra and other sites and staying three or more days, since it both waives the visa fee and bundles site admissions. Jordan is not in the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply.
