Argentina to Gabon visa requirements

Argentine ordinary passport holders need a Gabon e-Visa for tourism. Apply online at the official DGDI portal (evisa.dgdi.ga), then enter via Libreville's Léon Mba International Airport, where the visa sticker is issued and the fee (around EUR 70 / 45,000 CFA) is currently paid in cash on arrival. A yellow fever vaccination certificate is mandatory. Gabon does not grant visa-free access to Argentine citizens. Since 2023 Gabon operates a mandatory online e-Visa system administered by the Directorate General of Documentation and Immigration (DGDI) through evisa.dgdi.ga. An Argentine tourist must complete the online application (passport bio page, photo) and receive an electronic travel authorization before departure. Under the current hybrid model, the e-Visa authorization is approved online but the physical visa sticker is issued on arrival at Libreville's Léon Mba International Airport, where the visa fee is presently collected in cash (EUR 70 / approx. 45,000 CFA for a 1-3 month single-entry visa; EUR 185 for a 6-month multiple-entry visa). Gabon has been moving toward fully digital, pre-paid e-Visas, and ran a temporary free tourist e-Visa promotion from 15 July to 15 September 2025, which has since ended. The e-Visa is currently valid only for air arrivals via Libreville. A yellow fever vaccination certificate is required for entry. Argentines should default to the e-Visa channel; there is no confirmed visa-free or universal visa-on-arrival route.
