🇦🇷Argentina🇪🇪EstoniaAR-EE Argentina to Estonia visa requirements
Argentine ordinary passport holders can travel to Estonia visa-free for tourism, staying up to 90 days within any 180-day period across the Schengen Area. No visa or pre-travel authorisation is required as of 30 May 2026. ETIAS (a EUR 20 travel authorisation) is expected to become mandatory in late 2026, but is not yet in force. Estonia is a full member of the Schengen Area. Argentina is on the EU/Schengen visa-exemption list, so holders of ordinary Argentine passports do not need a visa for short tourist or business visits. The maximum permitted stay is 90 days in any rolling 180-day period, counted cumulatively across all Schengen countries (not Estonia alone). On entry, Argentine travellers simply present a valid passport and may be asked for proof of accommodation, a return/onward ticket, travel insurance and sufficient funds (roughly EUR 100-130 per day depending on the trip). The passport should be valid for at least three months beyond the intended date of departure from the Schengen Area and issued within the previous 10 years. A major change is approaching: the EU's ETIAS (European Travel Information and Authorisation System) is scheduled to go live in the last quarter of 2026, after which visa-exempt nationals including Argentines will need an approved ETIAS (EUR 20, valid up to 3 years) before travel. A transitional grace period is planned after launch. As of 30 May 2026, ETIAS is NOT yet operational, so no authorisation is currently required. Overstaying the 90/180 limit can lead to fines and entry bans, so travellers should track their cumulative Schengen days carefully.
