United Arab Emirates to Tunisia visa requirements

United Arab Emirates ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for Tunisia. You may enter visa-free for tourism and short visits of up to 3 months (commonly shown as 90 days), simply by presenting a valid Emirati passport at immigration on arrival. Tunisia grants visa-free entry to holders of ordinary United Arab Emirates passports for short stays. UAE MoFA lists normal UAE passports as visa-free and gives the tourism allowance as 3 months, commonly shown as 90 days. There is no advance application, no eVisa, and no visa fee for this category. Travelers receive an entry stamp on arrival at the port of entry (such as Tunis-Carthage International Airport) authorizing the permitted stay. Tunisia is NOT part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply; the Tunisian stay allowance is governed by Tunisian immigration law. To enter smoothly, an Emirati national should carry a passport valid for at least six months, a return or onward ticket, proof of accommodation, and evidence of sufficient funds. The visa-free arrangement applies to the standard ordinary passport; travelers planning to work, study, or stay beyond the permitted period must obtain the appropriate residence or long-stay authorization from Tunisian authorities. Border officers retain discretion to refuse entry, so all supporting documents should be readily available.
