Do UAE passport holders need a visa to visit SN?
UAE ordinary passport holders can travel to Senegal visa-free for tourism and short visits, staying up to 90 days without obtaining a visa in advance or on arrival. As of May 2026, holders of an ordinary United Arab Emirates passport do NOT need a visa to enter Senegal for tourism or short visits. The UAE is on Senegal's visa-exemption list (Category A), which grants stays of up to 90 days without any prior visa or visa-on-arrival formality. Travelers simply present a valid passport at the port of entry, along with standard supporting documents (onward/return ticket and proof of accommodation may be requested by the airline or border officers). Senegal is in West Africa and is NOT part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply here. The main requirements are a passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of arrival, and ideally proof of yellow fever vaccination, which is commonly checked for travelers arriving in or via Senegal. Because immigration rules can change, confirm with the Senegalese Embassy or IATA Travel Centre shortly before departure.
