🇦🇪United Arab Emirates🇸🇳SenegalAE-SN United Arab Emirates to Senegal visa requirements
UAE ordinary passport holders do not need a pre-entry visa for Senegal and may stay up to 90 days for tourism. Carry a passport valid at least 6 months, return/onward travel, proof of funds, and a yellow fever certificate; Senegal sources classify UAE under Category B rather than Category A. As of 18 June 2026, the visa-free outcome remains supported, but the previous Category A / no-arrival-formality wording was too broad. UAE MoFA's Senegal page, last modified 16 June 2025, lists normal UAE passports as visa free and gives tourism stays of 90 days, with a 6-month passport-validity requirement and a requirement to carry needed documents and funds. Senegal's visa-category materials place the United Arab Emirates under Category B, described as countries not requiring a visa to enter Senegal; the Embassy of Senegal in London describes Category B as a special arrangement at Dakar Blaise Diagne International Airport rather than the Category A list. The practical guidance should therefore be: no pre-entry visa for UAE passport holders, up to 90 days, but expect document checks and airport processing under Senegal's Category B arrangement. Yellow fever wording also needed correction. UAE MoFA lists yellow fever vaccination as required in its health guidance for Senegal, while GOV.UK and CDC state the certificate is required when arriving from or transiting through a yellow-fever-risk country, including long airport transits. To avoid boarding or border issues, UAE travelers should carry a yellow fever certificate, especially if their itinerary includes African or South American transit points. Senegal is outside Schengen and ETIAS.
