Do UAE passport holders need a visa to visit Singapore?
UAE ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for Singapore. As a GCC member state, the UAE is on Singapore's 30-day visa-free list, so Emiratis can enter for tourism or social visits for up to 30 days without a visa. Holders of an ordinary United Arab Emirates passport are visa-exempt for short visits to Singapore. Singapore grants visa-free entry to nationals of all GCC member states (which includes the UAE) for stays of up to 30 days for tourism and social visit purposes. No visa or e-visa needs to be applied for in advance. The only requirement before travel is the free SG Arrival Card (SGAC) with electronic health declaration, which every visitor must submit online within 3 days before arrival. The actual length of stay (the Visit Pass endorsement) is decided by an ICA officer at the checkpoint and can be 14, 30 or up to 90 days, but the visa-free entitlement is 30 days. Important exception: holders of a TEMPORARY passport issued by the UAE are NOT visa-free and must obtain a visa before travelling. Passport must be valid at least 6 months on entry.
