Do UAE passport holders need a visa to visit PE?

UAE ordinary passport holders can travel to Peru visa-free for tourism, staying up to 90 days within any 180-day period, under a bilateral visa-waiver agreement in force since 8 November 2020. No visa, eVisa, or fee is required before travel. United Arab Emirates ordinary (normal) passport holders do not need a visa to visit Peru for tourism or short visits. Under a mutual visa-waiver agreement that entered into force on 8 November 2020, UAE nationals may enter Peru visa-free for stays of up to 90 days within any 180-day period. Peru is in South America and is NOT part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply here. Travelers receive an entry stamp / migratory record at the border. At the port of entry, Peruvian immigration (Migraciones / SUNAT) may ask to see a passport valid for at least six months beyond entry, proof of onward or return travel, and evidence of sufficient funds for the stay. The COVID-era PCR test, health-declaration form, and quarantine requirements that appeared in the 2020 announcement have been lifted and are no longer in effect as of 2026. Overstaying beyond the authorized period triggers a daily fine payable on departure, so visitors should confirm the exact number of days granted on their entry record. This verdict reflects the position for ORDINARY passports; diplomatic, special, and service passport rules are similar (90 days) but administered separately.
