Do UAE passport holders need a visa to visit NA?
UAE ordinary passport holders can obtain a visa on arrival in Namibia for tourism, valid for stays up to 90 days. Namibia also offers a recommended online eVisa (visa-on-arrival type) that you can apply for in advance to speed up the airport process. As of 2026, United Arab Emirates ordinary passport holders are NOT visa-exempt for Namibia, but they ARE on Namibia's visa-on-arrival eligibility list. The visa is issued on arrival at major ports of entry (including Hosea Kutako International Airport in Windhoek and Walvis Bay Airport) for tourism or visiting friends/family, allowing a stay of up to 90 days. The fee is N$1,600 for citizens of non-African countries. Following Namibia's March 2025 launch of its electronic visa system, eligible travelers (including Emiratis) are strongly encouraged to apply online in advance for the "Visa on Arrival" eVisa to avoid potential delays and an additional manual-processing service fee at the counter. The passport must be valid for at least 6 months with two blank pages, and travelers must show proof of onward/return travel. The visa on arrival does not permit work.
