United Arab Emirates to Liberia visa requirements

UAE ordinary passport holders need a visa for Liberia. Liberia has an electronic Visa on Arrival (e-VOA) system, but the official portal says travelers in countries with a Liberian embassy or mission must apply directly through that mission rather than through the portal. Because Liberia lists a Consulate General in Dubai, UAE travelers should confirm and normally use the mission/consular route; use the e-VOA portal only if the Liberian authority allows it. A United Arab Emirates ordinary passport holder is not visa-exempt for Liberia; the UAE-Liberia visa waiver is limited to diplomatic and some official/service passport contexts, not ordinary tourism. Liberia's electronic Visa on Arrival portal remains relevant because it can issue pre-arrival approval for a visa collected at Roberts International Airport, Monrovia, with a listed fee of USD 102.50 and single-entry admission decided at the airport. However, the prior entry overstated the portal's role for UAE-based travelers. The official Liberia Immigration Service portal repeatedly states that if there is a Liberian embassy in the applicant's country, the traveler is required to apply directly at the embassy and not through the portal. Liberia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs lists United Arab Emirates - Dubai, Consulate General, and the UAE MoFA foreign-missions directory also lists the Republic of Liberia. Therefore, UAE travelers should treat the Dubai mission/consular route as the primary channel unless the Liberian authority confirms that e-VOA may be used. Passport validity of at least 6 months, blank pages, yellow fever vaccination proof, travel documents, and accommodation/funds evidence should be prepared.
